Normally I use a home remedy treatment for it, you can try it. Take 1tsp of baking soda and table salt on a saucer and mix them together. Wet a cotton ball and then place it in that paste, letting it dissolve and soak up the paste. Place the cotton ball on top of the gum boil and leave it there for as long as possible. Repeat this at least three times per day.

Gum boils occur when the bacteria that create gum disease and gingivitis invades the mouth, causing small areas of infection. I can share a home remedy with you which i use to avoid this kind of problem. Mix 1 tsp. of baking soda and 1 tsp. of cooking salt on a plate. Wet a cotton ball and then place it in the baking soda and cooking salt, letting it dissolve and soak up the mixture. Place the cotton ball on top of the gum boil and leave it there for as long as possible (preferably four or five hours). Repeat this three to four times per day.

It is a result of bacterial infection. You can use mouth wash for that. But I prefer to consult a doctor. It is the best solution.
