My son got a bridge to replace an extracted front upper tooth. Now that it's done and in place, it protrudes about 2mm (it is noticably misaligned like a bit of a "buck" tooth).
I'm being told that we can't expect any better than that with a child's bridge, & that the only way that it would be well aligned is to extract the other (perfectly healthy) tooth next to it and have a new bridge created.
So, my question is: Is it generally accurate that children's bridgework can't be expected to be well aligned?
Thanks very, very much for any feedback!
