My daughter fell right on her mouth just last night and hit her front tooth... I haven't noticed that it is loose or anything and it isn't chipped but I have heard that if a tooth is hit hard enough it can kill the tooth... Her gums look bloody around 2 or 3 of her teeth... My dentist is closed on Friday and I am not sure if it is urgent enough to make the trip out of town to another dentist... Help!

It seems that your child’s tooth has been injured. I would suggest you to take her to another dentist. If not it could be late and harm your child’s teeth.

Nothing to worry because it’s just a bruise and if you still worried you can check with another dentist

Keeping injured teeth is not a good thing. It is better to consult a dentist as soon as possible.

If you are in pain from a broken, cracked or chipped tooth, you may want to take a pain reliever and keep any part of the tooth that has broken off and take this with you to the dentist. If a tooth is completely knocked out of the mouth by an injury, take the tooth to your dentist as soon as possible. It may be possible for your tooth to be placed back into your mouth, a procedure called reimplantation.
